Maserati Concours Stanford Hall 5th June 2011

MIGHTY  MYLES  JUDGES  MASERATI  CONCOURSE

Judging a concourse event is never easy.  Many owners spend many hours preparing their cars and choosing just one car sometimes is very hard.

Myles was delighted to receive the invitation from Bill Jackson, VP of the Maserati Owners Club to be one of the judges but also a little nervous of the responsibility.

Cars of the 1970’s – Merak, Indy, Kyalami plus a combined class of the biturbo era of the 1980’s/90’s was his area for judging.

The weather was kind although over cast for a great gathering of cars at the annual meet at Stanford Hall.

Ross and Matthew were judges for the other classes.  Myles realised that consistency was all important and launched into the challenge with enthusiasm.

With?? years of working on these fantastic cars Myles is well qualified to recognise a great car when he sees one.

That the same owner won both classes is a tribute particularly to the detailed preparation.  There is just no substitute for time invested in the car!!!

The class winners were a Biturbo Coupe and a Kyalami, owned and presented by Andy Hayward.  Well done Andy, great cars!!!

A great day enjoyed by all and particularly Myles who was in his element in a judging role!!

Steady Myles, we might be calling you Prof soon!!
